WEEKDAY EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

Again this week Exposition is only possible on

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 2.0pm-3.0pm

It is the turn of our Parish to pray for vocations this week : we will use the times of Exposition for this purpose.

Money Matters Last Sunday 617.81 was given at the Offertory and 214.53 in the retiring collection for the Diocesan Priests' Training Fund. 112.61 was given to CAFOD.

 

The Parish AGM This was due to be held on Tuesday May 1st but has been postponed until the following week. It will now take place in the Hall on Tuesday May 8th at 7.30 pm. Please put it in your diaries, and will Secretaries of the various Parish organisations please prepare a short report on their activities during the past year.

 

Wednesday Lunch Club Jenny writes: 'A reminder to those who have booked for the next lunch club. This will be on Wednesday 2nd May at 12.30pm. Any queries contact Jenny.

 

Churches Together in Felixstowe

Barbara writes: 'The Forum meeting will be held on Wednesday 2nd May at the U.R.C on Orwell Road, 7.0pm for 7.30 pm. Come and hear about the CTF tent at the carnival "The Fun Faith Tent". Everyone welcome.'

Young Peoples Diocesan Summer Camp This will take place August 24th-27th at Moreton Hall School, Bury St.Edmunds, for young people aged between 8 and 14. Cost : 90. Fr.John has got application forms for those who are interested.

 

Association of the Family of Jesus and Mary

Elizabeth writes 'All are welcome at our May meeting on Wednesday 16th (7.30pm at the Convent) which will start with our Marian Devotion. There will be time afterwards to discuss the programme - the Coffee Morning on 9th June (for which help and items for the tombola will be needed) and our annual Walsingham pilgrimage - this will be followed by refreshments.

Please come both to support our Devotion to Our Lady and also to bring your ideas and suggestions for future meetings.'

ROSARY ON THE COAST

 

BE PART OF A NATION-WIDE WAVE OF PRAYER THIS AFTERNOON,

AS GROUPS OF PEOPLE ALL AROUND THE COAST OF BRITAIN SAY THE ROSARY TOGETHER FOR PEACE, LIFE, AND CONVERSION

 

Our Parish Rosary will be said at Felixstowe Ferry, by the landing place, at 3.0pm :

Go there direct, or, if you wish, join in a twenty-five minute walk to the Ferry, assembling at 2.30pm at the lay-by opposite a cul-de-sac called The Pines on the road to the Ferry.

 

Don't forget your Rosary! A leaflet will be provided
