THIS WEEK

Fr.John returns from his annual holiday on Friday, and the daily Mass at St.Felix resumes on Saturday, the feast of the Holy Archangels.

Today we again welcome Fr.Michael Rear, who has most kindly agreed to say the Masses this weekend. I'm afraid that it has not been possible to find priests to say the weekday Masses on most of the days this week : a reminder both of how short of priests we are at present, and of how fortunate we are to have an almost daily Mass for most of the year......

Anniversaries this week Unusually, there are no anniversaries this week.

CAFOD Next Friday is the annual CAFOD Family Fast Day in Harvest, and next Sunday there will be a retiring collection for CAFOD.

Deanery Quiz The Knights of St.Columba write 'The annual Deanery Quiz is on Saturday 6th October at 7.30pm. This popular inter-parish competition, which takes place in St.Mary Ipswich Church Hall is a big fun event, and raises money for charities supported by the Knight. Entrance is 5, and each parish is invited to send three teams of 4. A buffet is included (please bring your own drinks and cups/glasses). Numbers are needed, so when you have formed a Team, please let us know.
